Abdul Aziz Ali Abdulla Jasem AlHammadi

VP, Engineering & Tech Support, Abu Dhabi Polymers Co Ltd (Borouge)

Abdul Aziz is currently the Engineering & Technical Support Vice President in Borouge, where he Manages and coordinates Borouge strategic technical subject matter experts and professional engineering discipline resources in support of major capital project delivery; incident and equipment failure investigations; Corporate Technical Support. He has a career of 19 years at Total, diversified in maintenance, Technical and commercial. Abdul Aziz started his career in ADCO (ADNOC Onshore) in 1999 as Instrument & Control Engineer. He escalate the technical leader in different fields for 10 years. In 2009 he moved to work as Procurement & Contract manager in Abu Dhabi Government Sector. In 2013 he joined Borouge and worked in Technical Service Function until he reached his current position. He acted for Seiner Vice President Technical Group for about one year and played vital role in XLT meetings & decisions. He hold Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from UAE University, Feb 1999 and Master degree in Electrical Engineering from the Petroleum Institute, Dec 2010.

Abdul Qader Al Kamali

Vice President, HSE, ADNOC Onshore

Mr. Abdulqader AlKamali is Vice President Health Safety and Environment in ADNOC Gas Processing, with over 21 years of experience in managing Health Safety and Environment. With professionalism in Environmental Management he had been chairing the ADNOC wide Environmental Committee for five consecutive cycle. In coordination with Japan Corporation Center Petroleum (JCCP), Mr. Alkamali was the liaison focal person, organizing 6 Technical workshops and seminar in the area of Energy Optimization, Environmental Protection, Water Management, and other specific theme events. Presented in JCCP International Symposium Energy Conservation From Oil and Gas industries prospective. Additionally presented Environmental monitoring and control systems in number of technical forums. Mr. Alkamali is a SPE member, and was in the organizing committee for the first SPE Conference in the UAE.

Ahmad Shams

Vice President, Plant Operations, ADNOC Gas Processing

Mr. Ahmad Shams was born in Dubai, UAE, in 1973. He received the Bachelor in Electrical engineering from the university of Southern California, Los Angeles, California, in 1997. In 1997, he joined ADNOC Gas Processingas Instrument Engineer. Since then he has been with ADNOC Gas Processing in various positions. His current position is Vice President Operations Bu Hasa Plant Division. Mr. Ahmad Shams is a committee member & Vice Chairman for GPA GCC chapter, Executive board member in SOGAT, Executive board member in ISA UAE and Executive board member in Emerson Global users. His current role in the company is to direct and manage all activities at the ADNOC Gas Processing Bu Hasa Plant Operations while maintaining highest standards of HSE, Integrity and reliability of the assets to ensure the cost effective achievement of Plant’s production and processing targets in line with the corporate objectives.

Ali Abdul Aziz Al Ali

Manager, Smart City Systems Department, Ruwais City Unit, ADNOC

Mr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al Ali is ex- VP ITD at ADNOC Distribution in charge of providing the best in class Technology services to all company divisions in order to meet their diverse business objectives and goals. He credited for shaping the Information Technology Division into an agile and customer oriented workforce. He has led strategic IT Projects involving Business Intelligence, Paperless Office, Integrated ERP Suite, Bank Card Acquisition including EMV migration, Information Security etc. He has helped business benefit from the automation in the areas of Service Stations, Vehicle Inspection, Aviation and Logistics. He has paid special attention in upgrading data centre infrastructure to meet ever increasing demand from business for speed, availability, reliability and data integrity of Enterprise applications. He has been striving to get business involved in exercising ownership over larger IT strategic decisions so as to align IT objectives with the business objectives of the organization. Recently has transferred to Adnoc HQ and assigned as Smart City Manager in Ruwais, the objective is to transfer Ruwais City with the team into a modern & connected city while digitization will play big part in such transformation

Dr. Dr. Mikael Berthod

Vice President - ADNOC Refining Research Centre, ADNOC Refining Research Centre

Dr. Berthod joined ADNOC Refining in 2012 as Research Centre manager with a portfolio of more than 15 years of experience in homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis and considerable expertise in pilot plant and industrial projects in the downstream sector acquired at IFPEN (France). Dr. Berthod played a pivotal role in managing the sole refining applied research center in the country bearing in mind ADNOC’s vision to couple research and technology to evolve the national refining industry. He is presently leading, in his capacity as ARRC’s Vice President a team of multi-disciplined, multi-cultural professionals comprising of 90 scientists, technicians and operators to set a solid expertise for the refining R&D activities of ADNOC. Dr. Berthod is the author of over 18 scientific journals and 13 patents and has considerable participation in several national and international conferences, seminars symposia and forums on the refining research & development.

Eragbae Aikhoje

VP HSE, TOTAL ABK

Eragbae Aikhoje is an experienced Health Safety and Environment professional, having over 20 years experience working in different roles within Total. Currently the Vice President HSE for Total Abu Al Bukhoosh, he has previously worked in field operations as Site Manager on onshore and offshore locations operational locations managing sites with simultaneous Production, drilling and construction activities. Recognized leader in site emergency response and risk assessment. He has presented papers in several conferences mainly focusing on the human element in risk assessments.

Fuad Al-Ansari

Vice President, IT Division, ADNOC Refining

As the Vice President of Information Technology Division of ADNOC Refining, Mr. Fuad Al-Ansari is responsible for managing the technology infrastructure, refinery information systems and business applications across all divisions within Takreer including Ruwais Refinery (East and West), and Abu Dhabi Refinery. Mr. Al-Ansari holds a BS in Electrical Engineering (Electronics), 1994 and a MS in Engineering Management, 1996 from Portland State University, USA. He has completed Leadership trainings as part of Executive Education Program in Harvard Business School in 2009 and 2011. Mr. Al-Ansari serves on the IDC Technical Advisory Council (GCC), Maximo Oil & Gas Industry Advisory Council, OSI Soft Executive Advisory Council and participates in SAP Oil & Gas Global Advisory Group. With two decades of IT experience in the field of IT, Mr. Al-Ansari has headed ADNOC Refining’s IT Organization to establishing the Digital Strategy and IT Policies & Procedures in line with business of objectives of the company.

Hatim Khalifa Al Owaid

Vice President HSE & Asset Integrity, ADNOC Drilling

Hatim holds a Marine Engineer Graduate from Newcastle South Tyne-side College (U K) and a Certificate of Competency Class III from UK Maritime Coast Guard Agency. Hatim started his career in year 2000 with National Gas Shipping Company (ADNOC Group) as 4th Engineer. Currently he is holding the positon of Vice President HSE & Asset Integrity with ADNOC Drilling. During his 13 year service with ADNOC Drilling, Hatim held various positions ranging from Barge Captain, Marine Specialist, Head of HSE, until he progressed to the role of VP HSEAI in 2015. Hatim’s solid experience in marine industry for more than 10 years gives him the strengths and competence to supervise all marine and technical aspects of ADNOC Drilling Jack ups rigs and barge. His current position as VP HSEAI is pivotal in ensuring a maximum safety and asset integrity levels across the company.

Hussain Al Hammadi

Vice President Corporate HSE, Abu Dhabi Polymers Co Ltd (Borouge)

Hussain Al Hammadi is currently the Vice President of corporate HSE at ABU DHABI POLYMER COMPANY (Borouge), since July 2014. Before assuming this position, he was the vice president of Site Supply Chain at Ruwais since July 2011. Al Hammadi started his career with Borouge in 2003 when he was appointed as a Mechanical Engineer in Maintenance Department in Ruwais. In 2006, he moved to Borealis for an international project assignment of Borealis PP6 project in Burghausen, Germany, as Project / Mechanical Engineer till July 2007. In the same year, Al Hammadi was assigned as Polyolefin Plants Operation Manager at Ruwais site till October 2010 when he was assigned again as Utilities & Offsite Function Manager. Before taking the respobility of corporate Vice president of HSE in Borouge in 2014, Mr. Al Hammadi was vice president Site Supply Chain in Ruwais for 4 years in Ruwais. Al Hammadi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University in the USA since 2002. He is a UAE national with more than 15 years of experience in Petrochemical industry within ADNOC group of Company.

Jasim Josham Al Ali

Vice President – Brand Management, ADNOC - Abu Dhabi National Oil Company LNG Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)

Jassim has 20 years’ experience and manages following Departments under Engineering Division 1. Process Engineering & Energy Dept. 2. Instrument Control & Electrical Engineering Dept. 3. Mechanical & Structural Engineering Dept. 4. Cost Engineering Dept. 5. Engineering Services Dept. Started in ADGAS as Electrical Engineer with Engineering Support Department and then worked as Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager / Head of Instrument Control & Electrical Engineering and Manager of Performance & Reliability, Vice President (Integrity & Quality).

Majid Al Suwaidi

VP, HSE&Q, ADNOC Logistics & Services

Majid Alsuwaidi graduated as Master Mariner from the Australian Maritime College and served onboard LNG and Oil Tanker vessels. He has more than 20 years of experience in Operations and HSE in ADNOC Group and was appointed as VP- HSEQ since 2012.

Mohamed Ahmed Al Maflahi

Vice President, HSE, ADNOC Distribution

Mohamed Ahmed Al Maflahi has devoted his 25 valuable years working in ADNOC and its group companies. Currently he is serving as the Vice President of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment Division in ADNOC Distribution. He graduated from USA, BSc in Industrial Technology and Supervision and the Marine Chief Mate Certification from UK proved to be a feather in the cap. During his career span, Mohamed Al Maflahi has gained wide experience covering petroleum operations, emergency and crisis management, contracts, logistics operations and HSE in both onshore and offshore operations within ADNOC and its group companies. He has served in some reputed organizations as a brand ambassador for NEBOSH Oil and Gas certification UK and Ex Board Member of UAE Federal Environmental Agency. Mohamed Al Maflahi has pioneered several innovative solutions in the field of health and safety wherein he was conferred with prestigious Awards and Recognitions; some of the accolades include 2014 Recipient of the SPE Regional Technical Award in Health, Safety, ADMA-OPCO Innovation Award Winner 2007 apart from several ADNOC HSE Awards. Mohamed Al Maflahi is an active sportsman. He has been the Ex-chairman of Abu Dhabi tennis league and won several tennis tournaments in Abu Dhabi. He has a passion for horse riding and he is also the member of the UAE 4X4 desert adventure club.

Naser Al Omaira

Vice President - Maintenance Function, Abu Dhabi Polymers Co Ltd (Borouge)

Vice President in Borouge Maintenance Function, obtained BSc in Engineering Management. Started his career as Process Engineer, has been expanding his 15 years’ experience in Operational Excellence(OPEX), maintenance, and SCM. He provides leadership for robust and enabled 400+ maintenance team professionals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and the driving force behind his team excellent engagement and work-satisfaction within the workplace. His primary responsibilities comprises wide variety of maintenance strategic issues from governing policies & procedures, resource allocation, delivering plant availability, CI on cost efficiency, member of executive committee on OPEX, procurement, and safety. During his service at ADNOC, he has been speaker at seminars and conferences sharing best practices in OPEX, maintenance, SCM, and his savvy towards advanced IT, automation, and process control.
